I'd like to give you a little information, plus one correction. 1) Jacob Finley Siratt who was born in 1850 died in May 1912, not on the same date as his wife Sarah Arlena Stembridge. That was probably a typo somewhere along the way. I have the actual date, but it's on a hard drive in an older computer and I haven't transferred my genealogy files over yet. The reason I know about the date is that he died six months prior to the birth of his last child, my father Jacob Finley Siratt Jr., and he was born 10 November 1912. He died 11 December 1963 in San Luis Obispo Co CA and was buried in the Santa Maria Cemetery, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara Co CA. 2) The wife of Jacob Finley Siratt Jr. was indeed Lois Ellender Grisham McGill. (She always called herself Lois Ellen, however.) She was born 9 January 1916, Garland Co AR ,and she died 15 August 2002 in Santa Maria CA, buried in Santa Maria Cemetery. 3) Their children were: a) Betty Joanne Siratt, b. 25 April 1934 Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, CA; d. 10 December 1943, buried Santa Maria Cemetery. b) Beverly Gaye Siratt Enos Scofield, b. 23 December 1936, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, CA, living. c) Patricia Lois (aka Nancy Lena) Siratt Cooper, b. 17 May 1938, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, CA, living. d) Nina Lynn Siratt Bunch Thompson, b. 3 May 1943, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, CA, living. e) Jacob Finley Siratt III, b. 15 July 1948, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, CA; d. 19 July 1968 in Vietnam, buried Santa Maria Cemetery.
